HIGHLIGHTS
- Start in London: Riding out of the city gives a unique perspective on London's vast network of bike-friendly roads and paths.
- East Sussex and Kent: Ride through the beautiful landscapes of East Sussex and Kent, known as the "Garden of England." You’ll pass fields, orchards, and traditional English villages.
- Calais and the French Countryside: We follow routes like the Avenue Verte (Greenway), a popular, scenic option that links Calais to Paris.
- Arriving in Paris: Eiffel Tower Finale: Cycle down Champs-Élysées, and onto Eiffel Tower.
DESCRIPTION
Our iconic London to Paris Cycle will take you from the heart of London through beautiful English villages and into the stunning countryside of rural France before you reach Paris and end your challenge under the Eiffel Tower!
You will make friends as we cycle and go on an incredible adventure which will stay with you forever.
Each ride has around 15 fellow cyclists, so whether you are an experienced rider looking to put in some mileage or a complete beginner on your first ever multi-day cycle ride, you are bound to find other cyclists at your level and form great friendships as you pedal to Paris!
Each day we will aim to be into our hotel locations by 1500 (Excluding the first day) so you have time to explore the various French towns we visit.
Evening meals are yours to enjoy—whether on your own or with new friends made along the way. It’s a friendly, supportive group ride where everyone feels welcome.
The final day we hope to hit Paris by 1300 this will give you an afternoon and evening and the following Morning to look around and enjoy Paris or of course you can stay a few more days in paris.
The travel itinerary for the event is as follows: one travel day to London, four days of riding, and one return travel day—totalling six days.(The return travel should be booked by yourself via The eurostar).
Any additional travel outside of this schedule is your responsibility to arrange, although we’re happy to assist if needed.
SUPPORT
This is a fully supported ride—with two guides (group size dependent) and a support van complete with bike mechanic. The van also transports luggage from hotel to hotel, so you can just focus on the ride.
UNABLE TO RIDE A STAGE
If you can’t ride a stage, you may need to make your own way to the next hotel. We’ll help get you to a train station and will transport your bike and luggage, please remember—this is a cycling experience, and you should be prepared to ride multiple days.

Please arrive at The Cutty Sark ready to ride (no bike boxes).
The Velo Europe team will be staying at the Premier Inn London Greenwich the night before and will be happy to transport your luggage to the start.
We will transport your bike to London St Pancras for collection at around 15:00 (traffic dependent). Please ensure you book a Eurostar seat that arrives by this time.
ITINERARY
MEET AT 0800, READY TO ROLL FOR 0830,
Cycling from Cutty Sark (Greenwich, London) to Dover is a rewarding route, offering us a mix of urban cycling, rolling countryside, and coastal scenery as we make your way towards the iconic port of Dover.
The journey typically follows National Cycle Routes and quieter roads, with some challenging sections due to the distance and occasional hills.
Once we get to Dover its a cycle onto the ferry and the crossing to Calais, our hotel is approx 3km from the port.
Cycling from Calais to Abbeville takes us through a scenic part of northern France, characterized by rolling hills, charming rural villages, and a mix of coastal and inland landscapes.
Todays ride will be a mix of moderate challenges, peaceful countryside, and beautiful historical towns along the way.
We should make ABBERVILLE in plenty of time for sightseeing and an evening meal in a nice french Bistro.
Our ride today from Abbeville to Beauvais takes us through the heart of the beautiful Picardy region in northern France, characterized by rolling farmland, quiet villages, and historic towns.
Our route travels primarily through rural areas, offering peaceful and scenic cycling on country roads.
Again we will be in our hotel for around 1500, giving planty of time to have a look around and find some Dinner.
Cycling from Beauvais to Paris is an exciting journey that takes us through rural landscapes, charming villages, and then into the bustling capital of France.
The route blends quiet countryside roads with urban cycling as we approach Paris. not really a challenging ride, but a rewarding one as we end up in one of the world’s most iconic cities.
The ride will finish under the EIFFEL TOWER via The Champs-Élysées, after which a quick celebatory beer on a barge under the tower, before we head to the Hotel for the evening.
You can have a Morning in Paris before you hop on the eurostar for the trip back to england.
Your bikes should be collected around 1500 from St Pancres station.

- Travel: Travel to London and from Paris back home.
- Extra's Lunches,Evening meals, Snacks or Drinks.
- Personal Expenses: Items such as souvenirs.
- Travel Insurance: Coverage for medical emergencies and trip cancellations.
Other Terms
- To book a deposit is required, with the balance due 60 days before departure.
- Cancellations made over 60 days in advance are refundable minus a fee, while those within 60 days are non-refundable.
- Travel insurance is recommended but not included.
- Itineraries may change due to unforeseen circumstances, and travelers must follow guides instructions at all times.
- Luggage includes one bag and one small bag; excess baggage will incur extra fees.
- Respectful behaviour is required and special requests should be made at booking, subject to availability.
